# Homeowner Support Center

> Free, confidential, nonprofit-style guidance for New Jersey homeowners facing mortgage hardship or foreclosure. Plain-language education on options including loan modification, refinance, short sale, and deed in lieu — strictly localized to New Jersey law and procedure.

The Homeowner Support Center is a New Jersey–focused educational resource serving homeowners across all 21 NJ counties. We do not serve other states. Content covers the NJ judicial foreclosure timeline, homeowner rights, hardship-driven options, scam avoidance, and a done-for-you short sale service. Tone is calm, empathetic, and written at a 6th–8th grade reading level. We never use scare tactics or upfront fees.
